Hello! I am still here, but I have been limiting my time on the computer and doing more work in the studio. I am working on a whole series of summer items for the shop, inspired by our travels to Useppa Island last month. You see, there is not much sun and warmth to speak of in the Pacific Northwest just yet this season (hopefully coming soon). But it is most definitely summer in my creative thoughts.
I have also rediscovered by bicycle, which I haven’t ridden in 11 years! For Mother’s Day, old brown got a complete tune up and a brand new basket (perfectly detachable, with handles). It couldn’t have been a more perfect gift. I find myself planning in some time to ride it each day. I forgot how fun it is!
I will let you know here when I update the shop in a few weeks. There will be some brand new things I’ve been playing around with, plus some stuffed toys I’ve had inquiries about (whales, possibly some birds), charm bracelets, and pillows. All inspired by lovely summer days.
Thank you all so much for your kind words over on wise craft. Believe me, I have read every single comment and private email, every one. I love this community so much! It has been weird to be away from it, but you all have made me feel very supported and I think my life is finding a new balance every day right now.
